Meaningful Christmas Style

This year’s Christmas tablescape was inspired by the beautiful holiday tabletop and decor collection that Mary Hollis Huddleston of Mrs. Southern Social created in collaboration with Southern Living and Dillard’s. From classic greens and reds to beautiful, whimsical little red birds… Mary’s collection offers pieces that will bring lots of holiday cheer to your home this season.
I created our Christmas table around these tree accent plates, the stunning holiday block green napkins and green studded high ball glasses. These pieces, including the reversible holiday table runner, are from Mary’s Merry and Grand collection at Dillard’s.
I’ve always heard that red birds symbolize love and good luck, and the saying “when a red bird appears, an angel is near,” has always stuck with me. This collection features little red birds, and I wanted to create a table that focused more on the red bird and its meaning. I incorporated red birds into my floral centerpiece and love how it turned it.
Creating our Christmas table always brings me so much joy, and this year’s table turned out just as I hoped it would! Check out Mary’s Merry and Grand collection online or in your local Dillard’s store. There is still plenty of time for you to pick up some pieces from this beautiful collection to create your own Christmas tablescape or even to gift to a loved one or friend. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
