Job Title: Creative Content Coordinator
 
 Location: Franklin, Tennessee (this is not a remote position)

 Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Creative Content Coordinator to oversee the editorial content of YOUR Williamson magazine.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Editorial Leadership: Oversee the entire editorial process, from ideation to publication, ensuring high-quality and compelling content that aligns with the magazine's vision. Manage contributing photographers and writers to consistently produce engaging and relevant stories. Collaborate with the creative and design teams to maintain a cohesive and visually appealing design.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and implement editorial ideas that align with the magazine's goals and reflects the interests and needs of the Williamson County community. Stay attuned to local trends, events, and issues to guide the editorial direction and maintain the magazine's relevance. Will be responsible for writing monthly editorial content for the magazine as well as brainstorming and writing additional monthly content as needed and assigned by Publisher.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of editorial quality, ensuring accuracy, coherence, and consistency in all content. Conduct thorough fact-checking and editing processes to guarantee error-free and polished articles.
  • Community Engagement: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to enhance content partnerships and coverage. Attend relevant events and network within the community to stay informed about key developments and opportunities for coverage. Attend community events and take photographs for the magazine and online.

 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in editorial leadership.
  • Familiarity with the Williamson County community and an understanding of local interests.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital publishing tools and platforms.
 Preferred Skills:
  • A working knowledge of InDesign
  • Comfortable with event photography

Community Engagement Manager:
This is an OUTSIDE SALES POSITION - Base plus commission and/or commission only based on level full or part time status

Job Description: 
We are hiring an OUTSIDE SALES SUPERSTAR for print and digital platforms. We are looking for a sales and media savvy, social media wizard to close sales and specialty promotions within our local publications - both print and digital advertising opportunities.
This person must have complete COMFORT in prospecting, researching and cold calling strong advertising candidates within a regional area encompassing three distinct print publications and coordinating websites and social media sales aspects for both. MUST be a self-starter, highly organized and possess a go-get 'em attitude. Sales is the focus in this position, with unlimited opportunity and the ability to also integrate and immerse yourself into the company and the creation of fabulous community publications, as part of our creative and socially dynamic team.
 
This person must be comfortable engaging in both high-level sales opportunities as well as more local opportunities. They will be responsible for meeting sales goals and driving the success of sales within the company.
 
This person will work in tandem with the Publisher, to direct ongoing monthly sales goals, they will be responsible for aiding in development of strategy and marketing for sales campaigns and special projects.
They will be responsible for developing and maintain sales database, helping to create promotions for print and online sales opportunities.
 
MUST be a go-getter with a leadership attitude. STRONG communication skills, assertiveness and an ability to MANAGE their day and work with little supervision. MUST be able to juggle and complete multiple tasks daily. MUST be a dynamic networker and community socialite capable of attending events, working the crowd and being a FACE of the magazines on a daily basis.
 
This person will be a part of the team! They will be responsible for other marketing, networking and community relations activities as part of the overall sales role including but not limited to: event coverage and attendance, writing copy for advertising and marketing campaigns, company event promotion and participation, distribution and delivery of magazines, etc.
 
Candidate MUST live in one of and/or have working knowledge of Williamson/Maury/Sumner and Davidson Counties. They MUST possess reliable transportation, working personal laptop and cell phone. This is a salary/draw plus commission, full-time in and out of office job. Nights, overtime and weekend work will be expected as needed.
