MELISSA TAYLOR BURTON

Dr. Missy studied at Delta State University before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi. She received advanced training at the William C. Strupp Postgraduate School of Dentistry, Las Vegas Institute & the Louisiana Cosmetic Continuum. She practiced general dentistry with her father in Mississippi for six years and served as an adjunct instructor for the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. In 2010, she received her fellowship in dental oral conscious sedation (DOCS). Dr. Missy is skilled in a wide variety of dental areas, including cosmetics, crowns, bridges, implants, root canal therapy and digital radiography, including CBCT 3D Digital Scans and Sleep Apnea. A member of the American Dental Association and clinical evaluator for one of the national dental journals, she is also a member of the Tennessee Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Tennessee Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Gold Member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.) the Downtown Franklin Merchants Association and the Nashville Dental Association.

Taylor Made Smiles benefits from the great partnership between Dr. Missy and her husband and office manager, Court Burton. In their spare time, Missy and Court enjoy gourmet cooking, travel and playing with their children Wyatt and Khaki. Paisley, Keats and Raleigh - a trio of English Springer Spaniels - complete the family! They spend most days at the office greeting guests and calming nerves. This is TRULY a family practice for all members of your family.
