WCS Learning Plan and Resources
WCS schools are closed per Governor Bill Lee’s recommendation that Tennessee public schools close through Friday, April 24, 2020. Students will continue off-site learning and review through April 24, 2020. Students may use online resources and/or printed materials during this school closure, based on student access to the Internet and preference. WCS's goal is to keep students engaged in learning this school year’s content while they are away from the buildings.
Franklin Special School District
The Franklin Special School District is working with local, state and national health and safety agencies in response to the novel coronavirus-19 pandemic.
Goodnight with Dolly
“Goodnight With Dolly” will feature Dolly Parton reading a series of Imagination Library books all carefully chosen for their appropriate content at this moment in time. Once a week for 10 weeks at 6pm, The Book Lady will deliver her story with the program available across the Imagination Library, Dolly Parton, World Choice Investments and Dollywood channels. The read alongs will be a personal gift from Dolly to all families.
Nashville Zoo
The Nashville Zoo is temporarily closed to the public, but they are showcasing fun videos and updates through their social media. Stay up to date with the zoo animals on their Facebook page!
St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station
