Franklin's Mind The Gap

What is Mind the Gap? We are a community based project addressing the issue of hunger in Franklin and the greater Williamson County area.

Did you know?  1 in 5 children and 1 in 8 of the general population suffer food insecurity here in Middle Tennessee. Our goal is to at least put a dent in this problem! We would like to provide over 5,000 meals to struggling families in the Franklin/Williamson County area.

We need your help!  Donate food during our events… Let’s Fill the Gap together!

Come see us and donate on our Franklin Theater Day Sunday, April 14th

Come to the Franklin Theater for our event on Sunday, April 14th.  Buy tickets and enjoy a movie!  Most importantly, bring canned good items for donation to our project (popcorn sales will be donated on behalf of the Theater too!).  The Franklin Theater will be showing Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. The Upside will be shown at 7:00 pm. We will have a truck from One Generation Away in front of the Theater to accept your food donations.

Participate in our Food drive from April 22nd through May 3rd

We will have food box locations throughout Franklin from April 22nd to May 3rd.  Donation boxes will be in place and ready to accept your food donations in a variety of places and businesses in and around the Franklin area.  To find a complete list of food box locations, visit our Mind the Gap Facebook page.
