When and how did the Bride and Groom meet?
"We met at the University of Kentucky in August of 2016. We met at our dorm hall meeting, the very first day of college."

When did they get engaged?
"July 2, 2022 - Pewaukee Lake, WI, the brides hometown. Jake proposed at the end of the dock with friends and family surrounding them in a surprise gathering."

Special Ceremony Music
"I walked down the aisle to the song “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis. Elvis is my grandfather’s favorite artist. After the first kiss, we wanted to get the party started by “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” for our recessional song."

Any additional details or special moments you would like for us to know?
"My something borrowed was a Diamond tennis necklace from Lisa Culp Taylor. My something old was my grandmothers pearl earrings. Our something blue was our guests! Guests were encouraged to wear blue."

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
"Molly - Our final private dance where everyone left and just my new husband and I danced to one of our favorite Tyler Childers song, Lady May. Jake - When the door opened and Molly stepped down the aisle in her gorgeous wedding gown."

What is something you would not change about your wedding day?
"Funny you ask. All the power went out in Midtown that night… about 9PM, right as the dancing was getting good & we wouldn’t change it! We had a great group of guests who kept the party going, playing a guests guitar & singing our favorite college songs."

What moment from your wedding day would you like to re-live?
"Getting whisked away immediately following the ceremony, just the two of us, to the rooftop, with a glass of champagne in hand to celebrate our love!"
