Making a Difference One Dish at a Time

By Megan Zinger

We couldn’t think of a better Williamson County resident to highlight for this month’s Eat, Drink & Be Merry edition than catering expert and Franklin native, Suzette Lane! Suzette is one of the most well-known and respected caterers in middle Tennessee. She has her very own catering company, Suzette’s Catering and Events, that handles all-size events from intimate, private parties to full-scale plated meals and buffets for 2,000 people.

At the start of the 2020 pandemic, Suzette stepped up to the plate and delivered meals to people across Williamson County. First, Suzette would cook what she had in the freezer, along with ordering produce. Then, each week, it would be a new meal to feed to the community. She did this for an astonishing seven weeks straight! Here are a few interesting things to know about Suzette.
