Join Williamson County Public Library System for its second annual Winter Reading Challenge! Residents of all ages are welcome to participate. There are specific reading challenges available: birth through seventh grade, seventh through 12th grade and adults age  eighteen years and older. For more information about the reading challenge’s different age groups, visit  WCPLS’s website on the Winter Reading 2021-2022 page. The challenge started December 1st, 2021 and will run until February 2nd, 2022. The WCPLS will offer prizes for children and teens. After ten hours of reading is accomplished, all ages get a free book!

How to Participate:
  • Register with Beanstack at williamsoncounty.beanstack.org or log into your existing Beanstack account.
  • Choose the age-appropriate winter reading challenge. You can visit your home library branch to register and pick up a paper reading log to participate.
  • Download the Beanstack mobile tracker app from the App Store, I-Tunes or Google Play to keep track of your reading log.
  • Prizes must be picked up in person at your closest library branch. The deadline to pick up prizes is February 19th

Of course, reading is always encouraged beyond the challenge time frame! Be sure to keep an eye out for other fun events with the WCPLS, such as story times, reading to therapy dog programs, chess, and more. To learn  more about the Williamson County Public Library and its events, visit wcpltn.org.
